About us

Tia Fiore Garland 

Tia is a graduate of the Aveda Institute Denver and a fully licensed cosmetologist. She is wedding obsessed specializing in romantic updos and soft glam makeup. Tia has been styling hair and makeup for the past 9 years. She also previously worked at Drybar for 6 years. Tia now works out of her own salon in South Denver serving a large clientele beautiful blowouts, bridal trials, root touchups and glam for any occasion! She has also styled hair for many editorial shoots in Colorado, several being published including Rocky Mountain Bride. With over eight years of retail management experience, Tia has outstanding customer service and works well under pressure. She keeps a positive attitude and strives to meet every client's needs 110%!

Mel Akana Mcintosh

Mel is a makeup artist with over 15 years of professional experience. She is a Graduate of the Aveda Institute and a fully licensed cosmetologist. She was named Colorado Makeup Artist of the Year in 2016 after being nominated in 2015. Mel is an active participant of New York Fashion Week, having done hair and makeup for the past 8 years of shows. Mel has worked alongside several talented photographers all over the globe including Denver based fashion photographer, Nicole Marcelli. 

Mel has done over 500 weddings and thrives working in a fast paced environment. Mel brings a degree of composure and charm to all occasions, putting everyone in the room at ease and instilling a genuine delight in all those touched by her presence. She is fully focused on her clients' needs and making their dreams come true!

In 2019 Mel relocated and now owns a salon space in Brooklyn, NY!
